Is SnipIE OK?

Hi,
A friend has suggested that I use Snip IE, from http://www.scitrav.com/snipie
It's for keeping lists of urls. I don't want to say "No" without reason, but as it involves installing a BHO I'd like to be sure that it's OK. It's much easier not to install things than to clean them away later.
Does anyone know anything about this, please?

I think SnipIE is handy, and it comes from your neck of the woods. Well worth a tryout...
