I will wait for the REAL RC1 to come out. I'm still at version 1.0PR.

Well for most people, I would normally advise you to wait until the final release rather than use a release candiate.

But in this case, firefox branch builds after 4th Oct, have greatly enhanced tab browsing, such that you no longer need extensions to force one or "single window" mode in firefox.
