Has anyone used Autostreamer to slipstream SP2 into XP? I could use some help please. I have my XP CD that came with my Dell computer and the SP2 CD from Microsoft.

After a little research, it look's like a real crap-shoot! Two pages I'd definately have a look at,
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kb/en/document?dn=1090448&c=us&l=en&s=gen&cs
http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=sw_svcpacks&message.id=283
The main area's of concern I've read about are with the OEM cd, and the BIOS. Good Luck!

I am trying to use Autostreamer that I downloaded from the Windows Ultimate Boot CD web site. They say it is simple to use. I guess I am more simple than it is.

I'm being patient, but if you need reinforcements Will, "go for it!"

It's got some good backing, may even take some heat off M$...

Thank you for the help. I found what I needed on The Windows Forum . It worked . At least it seems to have worked and real nice. Now I have a XP CD with SP2 already in it. http://www.windowsforum.org/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t12480.html

I haven't tested the CD and don't intend to unless I have to. My next project is to use this CD to make a Windows Ultimate Boot CD. I haven't been playing with computers long and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I appreciate all the help I get.

I used Roxio Easy Cd Creator 6. I had looked at the 911 site before. It is interesting.

Then look here Will, Boot Media and Tools (http://lists.gpick.com/pages/Boot_Media~Tools.htm). Info pages as well.
Don't forget to find the homepage before you leave.
