I don't know but is it possible that a website can open the MS Agent app? How the heck can a website open an exe file on my PC? :o

So as soon as I open the site I get to see the Merlin agent in the tray (and in Process Explorer) and if I close the site, it will disappear. With javascript disabled it doesn't work, so it doesn't look good.

I'm fully patched btw and if it is a bug can someone please notify MS? TIA

OK so maybe I was a bit paranoid, but I still don't like it that webpages can startup the MS agent, who knows what's next. It also doesn't work with ActiveX disabled, so hopefully we can block this control somehow. :)

I followed the other link and zapped the wizard! ;D

This is not a big deal for me Rasheed. In Outpost Pro I can easily exclude loading Active content such as this on a site per site basis via a prompt or exclusion list entry.
