I downloaded and tried to install:
http://desktop.google.com/
And it would not, but opened a link to:
http://desktop.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=10742
What's up with this? Why would NOD32 interfere here?

I think this a Google's problem. Sure they will contact ESEt to solve the issue.

Did you read the second link that you quoted above:
-{ Quote: "APPLICATIONS THAT ARE ENTIRELY INCOMPATIBLE WITH DESKTOP SEARCH:
Unfortunately, there are also a few programs which are entirely incompatible with Desktop Search. If you are currently using one or more of these programs, you will not be able to also use Google Desktop Search. We do not recommend trying the fix described above. If you would like to use Desktop Search, you will need to entirely uninstall the other application. We realize this is an inconvenience, and are working hard to resolve this problem.
- NOD32 AntiVirus
[snip rest of list]" }-
So they know about it, and say that they are "working hard to resolve the problem".
Maybe if you send an email to google it will let them know that there are potential customers that want it to be fixed :)

Seems it conflicts with IMON. Both applications are using LSP.

As noted by Phil_S....this is strictly a Google problem at the moment and as such....I have moved the thread to a more appropriate Forum.
Please continue any further discussions here.
