Don't know if this has been suggested before but why not include a spelcheca for high school dropouts like me to use in posts?

Thar is a speel chekrer biult into the fourm sfotwrae alraedy. Wroks godd, uh? ;D
Actually, I've never seen one as an option for vBulletin. I'm not sure we want to pay for one, but maybe if there's a free one somewhere that integrates easily?

Thanks for the link Q, just downloaded it myself. Generally I don't worry too much about typos if it looks like what I meant to say is reasonably understandable, but of course what's "obvious" to me when I write it isn't necessarily of any sense at all to the person reading it.

For Firefox and (and sometime soon for Mozilla) you need Spellbound. (Who uses IE here???? It's a terrible security risk and this IS a security site). ;)
Spellbound is outstanding and the author is working furiously hard at constantly improving it. It is for Firefox 0.9 and above.

Hello Mele20
Did you know that by using Maxthon one is more secure than using IE? Even though Maxthon uses the IE engine there are additional security enhancements that make Maxthon much more secure. As a matter of fact there are discussions about if Maxthon is indeed more secure than Firefox. It is yet to be determined.

I was just looking to fill that spell-check void for you. Comedy is not my strong point. If it's any consolation, I had a restless night with it on my conscience.....

Seriously though, I only mentioned this because I came across one on the Dantz forums ( Do I need a Capital 'F' there?) at http://forums.dantz.com/ubbthreads/login.php?Cat=0 & it looked pretty good to my inexperienced eyes. Don't know if it cost a packet or what, but it's good.
This was only a suggestion & I'm quite happy to be on the forum without one as I can see I'm not alone here. ::)
To all you other fellas who gave me a smile. Thanks for your posts.
