The EMON module is an email monitor for the Microsoft Outlook mail client
ensuring antivirus protection of incoming and outgoing email and the bodies
of read email.

Thanks for the heads up Ron, damn you are quick ;) Reckon they had just hit "upload" when you picked it up... Your Nickname should be "Hawkeye" ;D

You can monitor the ESET site using WebMon available here: WebMon (http://www.btinternet.com/~markwell/webmon/)

Nice free tool for being notified when a web page has been updated without checking it every 2 seconds. Especially for those long awaited releases. ;)

It is. I believe that is why I have never had an update issue. I see the updates within 2 minutes of release. ;D

I wish they would think about integrating into thunderbird as well.

Hi there,
Just a question: Must IMON pop scanning be still enabled if EMON is enabled? Because otherwise it will be scanned twice (I think ??? ). I've noticed in the EMON settings an item called "Include scan results of other modules" so I'm a little confused here about the need of IMON pop3 scan if EMON is enabled.

Note: this question is related to users who only uses Outlook. I understand if someone uses an other mail program , IMON pop3 scan must be enabled

Question for ESET

Since I am running the "beta" EMON module I notice that during any silent updates that I get this email message since I have configured NOD32 to notify me by email in regards to failed updates ect ect......

"10/3/2004 9:43:00 AM - During execution of EMON - Microsoft Outlook email monitor on the computer (redacted), the following warning occured: Unable to load module (2).

__________ NOD32 1.882 (20041002) Information __________

This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system.
http://www.nod32.com"

Is this normal since I am running the "beta" version of EMON and if so..When is the "beta" going to be finalized and incorporated into the next version of NOD32 ?

Thanks

Saphire

I just wish they would implement IMAP support. POP3 is so cumbersome and old skool ;D

From what has been seen in the past, Eset develop, test and finalize a Slovakian and English version, once complete they go onto other languages...

Hope this helps...

Cheers ;D
