does anyone have a definitive answer on whether I can use one Nod license for a laptop and a desktop. I never use them both together and theoretically I guess I could move the installation between machines as I use them but this would be a pain.

The official answer somewhere on this forum is "no", 1 license per machine is required.

Hope this helps...

Cheers ;D

Ah, 1 license per machine.

Does this mean... I have 3 partitions
Win2kServer (boot)
Win2k Pro
WinXp Pro
all on the same machine.
I can install NOD32 with only one license on each of the partitions...right?

Looking forward to hear from you.

From the Nod32 EULA

{QUOTE-> 3. Licensed Operating Environment.
(a) Operating Environment. Once You execute this Agreement, have completed activities described in Section 2 ("Certain Preliminary Uses") and provided You pay the applicable License Fees described or referenced in Section 7 ("Price & Payment") when due, You will be deemed granted one (1) non-exclusive operations license(s) for the Licensed Program, in each case to install, store, load, execute and display (collectively, "Use") the Licensed Program on precisely such number of computers and/or platforms (file servers/mail servers) as specified in the Purchase Order and/or the corresponding Invoice. The Licensed Program is provided only in machine readable object code form. <-QUOTE}

Actually....that's the Philadelphia lawyer version ;)

BUT....if you cut to the chase....it plainly states, as Blackspear noted...."1 license per machine is required."

I have a few customers with multiple partitions and when I asked the question from my Distributor, just to be certain, he said it would be ok for the 1 license on the 1 computer so long as it wasn't cross platform, as in Linux and Windows...

Hope this helps...
