EZ Armor includes EZ Antivirus & EZ Firewall. The *list price* is $49.95. A 1-year license is being given away for FREE right now at...

I already had a paid version of EZ AV, which was up for renewal in October. I signed up for the free offer, & received a confirming message with a registration number therein. I entered that number into my existing copy and... Shazam! -- I now have a license good for one more year. I am not using the EZ firewall, however. I prefer Outpost.

I just got it and installed it as my on demand av. I have had it before and it always seems to work well. And the VET scanning engine does a good job. But I didn't install the firewall either, I use kerio 2.1.5

Do you have any info on which firewall core is used in EZ Firewall?

It uses a custom version of zonealarm pro I believe.

I believe bigc's answer to be correct. Also, the firewall included with the freebie is a *Light* version, whatever that means.

I do know that the EZ AV that comes with the EZ Armor freebie is the full-on version. It is quite good.

As for the Light firewall -- eau bloody nose? :-\

Blah, the firewall is ZoneAlarm. Not good if you use P2P,but good if you just browse the web...
