i just tried downloading the spyware blaster but it's unable to open. it says the library file is missing, msvbvm60.dll. anyway, i thought i'd just post a note. i'll try again later! :)

hmm.I had that same problem today trying to install Hijack Blaster on a windows 98 system.I didn't make note of the missing dll though.So I understand that if I get the number of the missing library dll,there are places to download it from?That would be cool,cuz I recommended Hijack Blaster and I couldn't get it to run cuz of that missing library component.I want the best protection on that system and I would feel better with Hijack Blaster running on it.

Hey Controler.The other link worked for me.Thanks for posting it.The download cured the problem.Apparently some 98 systems don't have the VB6.0 runtime file?

That is correct - a very small percentage of Windows 95 and 98 systems do not have the VB run-times.
