Any opinion on this one ?

Winsock Firewall is used to protected your PC against spywares, spamwares. It is also a good example for software developers to understand the basic knowledge about the firewall.

It only gives you basic control over tcp, and udp. I saw nothing about the other common tcp/ip protocols like icmp.... Pass.

I was curious so I checked it out. The application rules don't seem to be fully implemented, and I doubt it uses cryptographic hashes. It's not very user friendly or comprehensive, but it might be worth keeping an eye on for future releases as the project was only very recently posted to SourceForge.
