My TDS-3 don't speak to me :-(

Hi,

I have read somewhere that my TDS-3 could speak to me (sort of speak, naturally), so I go check on the configuration and see the speech synthesis, so I choose a voice press on Test and nothings going on (I have try with every voice choice). What can I do now to have my TDS-3 speaking to me????
