Help! The OS Selector start-up screen has vanished and I cannot access anything in my computer. This started to happen after the CD writer was replaced with a newer model and even changing back to the old one did not help. I used the rescue CD that was made when the program was first installed on the computer but, after it asks for the serial number and I put it in, the wizard neither accepts nor rejects the number, just waiting, as though part of the number was not in yet. The "Next" button should become useable but it does not. Is there some way to bypass OS Selector altogether and get straight into Windows?
I have a folder full of data in there that I am desperate to get at. I have another PC that works - is there something I could do using another computer? Any advice would be very welcome.
