Has anyone else noticed these? I would've posted at N-I except I can't register an account yet. Anyways, they appear to be part of SWB's Restricted Sites protection. Maybe someone should inform Patrick, excuse me, Mr. Kolla.

These are false/positives - see this thread (http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=21531) at Net-Integrations for more information.

They are listed in SpywareBlaster's Restricted Sites Protection and also in IE-Spyad's Restricted Sites List, so do not fix them or you will be removing their protection.

Hi Snap, LJM here, if these aren't to be removed, how are we supposed to deal wiv the problem, are we supposed to exclude this detection/product from future searches, or do we have to wait for the next spybot definition file update, for the bug to be fixed???

If Snapdragin can't tell me, then i'd appreciate any response from any1 else....cheers!!!

Regards,
LJM

Hi LJM, leave them alone for the moment, they will be sorted out in the future with an update...

Cheers ;D

Hi.

I had the same StartPage-EH false positive and I posted in the net-integration thread linked above.

I also advise to you to ignore everything in that detection category and to wait until the next definitions are released.

Realize that this detection only concerns the most recent beta definitions. If you choose to use betas of any sort, then you need to expect that certain things might not work as planned. These detections are telling you that something in the Spybot S&D database needs to be fixed, not something on your computer.

To avoid this kind of situation in the future, you could always choose not to use anything beta. However, by telling the developers of any problems you encounter in a beta, you are helping them to improve the program. It's a way, however small, of giving something back (donation being another, of course). So it's a choice.

My few cents :)
