Hi,
This bug is not the fault of ProcessGuard, but rather is the fault of PGP. However since some of you who have ProcessGuard may consider installing PGP 8.x at some future point in time, I felt this warning would be useful.
During setup PGP 8.x attempts to install a "PGPserv" service, and if its installation is blocked, upon reboot PGP will lock all keyboard and mouse input, and crash with an error message - thus rendering your system unusable.
So double-check to make sure you disable ProcessGuard's driver/service installation blocking before installing PGP 8.x
To fix this issue, if you have Windows XP, you'll need to boot into the Recovery Console, and rename all PGP*.dll files in your Windows\System32 directory to something else (perhaps add a "_" in front of each name). Then you'll be able to boot, and regain your mouse/keyboard functionality.
Best regards,
