You can, however I would try leaving them on and see how you go, I don't think you are likely to have a problem...

Hope this helps...

With the new Beta it has improved, and will continue to improve rapidly...

The new Beta is rather impressive ;D

The 2.011 beta release of Nod32's resident antivirus scanner AMON has advanced new heuristics to detect unknown trojans and has improved trojan cleaning procedures. Nod32 does not require users to reboot into safemode as its default procedure to remove Trojans; rather, the software will stop the service, delete the trojan and restore Windows to its previous state.

I've never seen the lsass.exe error here. XP home, sp1, stand alone machine.

The only slowdown I've seen has to do with Firefox not unloading at times. This could be due to a conflict with an extension I have installed. Firefox is a beta too.

Other than that, it actually seems to run faster than the previous version.

the 011 beta?
then how come blackspear was reporting so much on the lsass issue?

A few people have reported that problem. Others have not.
It is a mystery so far.
The beta adds advanced heuristics to real time scanning and several other features. Maybe the answer lies there.

I really don't see much difference in the way my computer runs no matter which version I use.

As long as a program is called a beta, there could be a problem or two.

An extreme minority are having this error, don't be put off by one of my computers, the error comes and goes according to what version of the Beta is installed, I have just heard from another person that had the same problem, with the new Beta 2.12 it has dissapeared...

Hope this helps...

Cheers ;D
