Hi,

after installing Windows XP SP2 my Process Guard sometimes logs messages of the type ‘Global Keyboard Hook blocked’, referring to programs such as Spywareblaster.exe, Winword.exe, I-tunes.exe, etc. – all programs that didn’t appear before in this correlation.

Is it a general problem that others are also experiencing or have I been hit by malware? My TDS, Norton Antivirus, Ad-aware and Spybot S&D all say I’m clean. Also HijackThis scan doesn’t show anything suspicous.

All help is very much appreciated.

Kind regards,
polle

Hi polle,
Could it be related to Programs that may behave differently in Windows XP Service Pack 2 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=884130&product=windowsxpsp2) ?
Just a suggestion. ;)

It's clear: this is an SP2 specific problem, but I couldn't find any solution for that on the web -- including the MS resources as well.
