Hi All

I am in the last stages of building a new computer, when it suddenly hit me: "will i have to buy a new copy of XP :-\ ", new parts are: mobo, cpu, ram, harddisk and dvd-rom. So the question is, will i be able to register it. ???

Regards

That's one reason why I can't affort another XP ...

I am also trying to build up another PC but will use Linux SuSE 9.1 Pro instead ... Because it is cheaper.

But be prepared for steep learning curve if you want to use Linux SuSE 9.1. Pro.

I have seen on PriceWatch XP COA (Certificate of Authenticity) for about $91. It doesn't come with the cd or manual, but if you already have it, it might work. I haven't tried it, so I can't vouch for its authenticity. I guess it depends on the reseller.

Thank you for the tip Devinco, i'll probably end up buying a new copy (converting to english-version), it costs about $115 here. :)
