i cant remember if someone recommended this here or somewhere else. but it does as it says- Rootkit Detector V0.62 for windows 2K/XP/2k3. probably best to keep the link and see if it gets updated.

I've got it in my toolbox too. Another one to keep an eye on is VICE from rootkit.com. (these links might get snipped since malware is also made available).
