Yep ... Becky's is dead ... long live Wilders! :)
Even though I seldom used it, I'd like to publicly thank the guys at Becky's for hosting the original NOD32 Support Forum ... but times change, and we have to change with them if we want to stay #1.
I've known Paul for the past couple of centuries, and I guarantee that moving here is a step in the right direction for us!
Paul is well known for helping his members and guests with a wide range of security and antivirus problems, and he knows NOD32 well.
Eset technical support guys will be checking the forum regularly. They can't be here 24/7, of course ... but Paul knows where to find us if anyone needs urgent help and no techs are around.

I welcome this change. It's a good thing NOD32 is such a well-written and stable program becuse I have had GREAT difficulty getting support the few times I needed it in the past. I look forward with renewed interest to the "official" NOD32 support forum and ESET product support in general.

Hi Frank,
As you English is not that good, I 'll go on in French.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I have lurked here quite a bit over the last several months but never posted. The addition of NOD32 and my current interest in WormGuard prompted me to go ahead and sign on the dotted line. :D
Paul -- I am a "newbie" here, but you and I have had several posts back and forth over the years on a different security forum so I know the decision by ESET and Wilder's to place NOD32 here is a good one. I see only good things resulting from the combo, in particular for the NOD32 user. Thanks for hosting the forum!

No matter what the company thinks, it's Eset AU carrying it overhere, isn't it, which might urge the base to come over to look what's happening in support country. :D
We've been digging our tunnel all through the planet to Australia and found there the DiamondCS guys, whose products run fine together with the NOD so a nice wide lane for Rodzilla testdriving his speedcar on and back.

Great words for a great program. I hope that the support will be great also, because the ESET Team is not that great in giving support to their users. I hope this is going to change now.
A lot of forum users are happy because the NOD team is changed from Becky to the Wilders forum, but they forget the bad support of the ESET-Team.

I'll have to disagree here to some extend. First of all, ESET customers always could (and can) contact their local ESET contact. This is (and has been) working rather nicely. As for a general centralized forum: as you might have noticed, this forum is organized differently. Support is provided by a dedicated and skilled team. ;).

> Since I'm new to this site - could You explain what the Aussies have to do with NOD32 since it comes from East Europe???
This forum is "my" baby ... Paul and I have been working towards its birth for some time ... and I've always been the most visible "NOD32" poster on the forum circuit. Jooske isn't the only one who assumed NOD32 was an Australian program. :)
> Since it is located in San Diego & Prague?!
Eset head office and the development team are located in Slovakia, but NOD32 is not "the virtually unknown antivirus program from the little country no-one has ever heard of" which it was a couple of years ago ... it has become a fairly well known antivirus program with a very strong (and getting stronger every day) reputation, available in most major languages with more translations to come, supported by an international team of partner distributors.
The guys you see here representing Eset in their own countries don't just "sell" NOD32 ... we are NOD32.
> BTW: THX to Paul from me also: He's the one I looked for in this forum because I know him from somewhere else! THX davi! ;-)
I've known Paul for the last couple of centuries, and he is definitely one of The Good Guys.
> Great that some "workers" from Eset also are posting/reading here!!!
I've known most of the NOD32 team for many years, and we work well together, with a lot of behind-the-scenes cooperation.
This new global support forum demonstrates our team spirit ... it has been online for only a few hours and already we have four NOD32 guys, backed up by Paul and Jack who are both knowledgeable about the program.
The only way to go from here is "up". :)
===
Addendum . . .
Make that five NOD32 guys ... Tom from Japan sneaked in under the radar.

> Trial users will receive support, as registered users will receive support ;).
Yes ... they will ... but NOD32 is not "free for life" software.
The NOD32 guys will fully support trial users during the evaluation period, but people who leech a new trial version every month may not be so lucky. :)
