I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, however, since installing the new Beta, I am unable to view any of my Hotmail emails through Outlook Express. When an email arrives in, the preview pane is now blank, I then double click on a email to read it and the timer comes up, headers are displayed but the email body remains blank.

This PC only receives Hotmail, no POP3 standard accounts are set up.

Cheers ;D

It's OK here. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Only found this with Outlook Express, and it may yet turn out to be a coincidence. I'm going to try uninstalling and placing on the current standard version tonight...

Current standard version installed and outlook express is still the same, so it appears to be a coincidence. 2 Hotmail accounts are no longer able to view or preview emails brought in through outlook express.

This appears not to be a Nod32 Beta problem, unless someone else has started having the same issue...

I have fixed the empty message problem by doing the following:

Click:
Start
Run

Type in:
regsvr32 inetcomm.dll

All fixed, I'm not sure if the new Beta has anything to do with that file or not.

Solution was found at:

Hey Blackspear

After reading your thread about hotmail I decided to sent to my hotmail acct a test email with a pic from a pop3 account using OutLook2003 and everything worked O.K. for me. I don't use OutLook Express at all just OutLook and by the way I have found that DMON operates flawlesly with Office 2003

NOD32 does not scan emails from hotmail inside outlook express, does it? I think it only scan POP acounts in port 110!

How can I make NOD32 scan webmail using outlook express?
Thanks.

The Beta does scan folders brought in through Outlook Express, including Hotmail, I was rather impressed when Nod advised me of an infection in one of my emails...
