AIDA32 - Personal System Information

This is a free program that will bring up everything in your system, including brand names, model numbers and even serial numbers to much/all of the hardware. It is literally a total and complete break down of your entire system, including memory usage/availability, some problem detecting, even CPU temperature. It does not run in the back ground, so it won’t deplete recourses. The layout is similar to Windows Explorer with the tree formation of all of the computer categories.

Thought I’d pass it on.

NOTE: The download for English is about half way down in the category with four flags, one being British. That area is titled “AIDA32 – Personal System Information.”

{System report/benchmark} First, I want to start out by saying
that I can't believe the product is free. I have never seen a
system-reporting tool that is so well put together. If there was
anything you wanted to know about your computer, this is the
application that will find and tell you about what you are looking
for. Want to know the motherboard CPU Package Type? Done! Want to
know the BIOS type? Done! There are so many areas of reporting
that this application covers that I couldn't possibly name them
all. Heck, I haven't even found them all! Don't worry. The
application is easy to use, and you don't have to be "super tech"
to understand it all. AIDA32 will also let you export your summary
results in TXT, HTML, MHTML, XML, CSV, MIF, and INI file formats.
AIDA32 comes in three flavors: Enterprise, Personal, and Network.
The last two versions fit on a floppy, making it the perfect tool
for desktop technicians. Basically, all that I can say is that you
would have to be CRAZY not to download this product. A program
this well created may not stay free forever, although I hope it
does! [BS]

Well, I´m flabbergasted. Where Sisoft Sandra gives me ??? and can´t figure out which motherboard I´m using nor could find my external HD, AIDA32 has all the answers, and even tells me how much free space I have left on the partitions of that HD.
Thanks you all for bringing this program to my attention.

Regards,

Pieter

I use this product and it is free also.
The Belarc Advisor builds a detailed profile of your installed software and hardware and displays the results in your Web browser. All of your PC profile information is kept private on your PC and is not sent to any web server. Click here to download a free copy for personal use.

http://www.belarc.com/products.html

It even lets you navigate right from the window to all of the software and files with one left click.

Never go out of the box.

With all respects for the Belarc Advisor you really can't compare Belarc with Aida, give Aida32 a try and you stay at that program instead of Belarc.

The reason is very simple: Aida32 can doing so much more then Belarc :D
