KAV 4.5 Extended Database

I have Kav 4.5 Pro and recently found out about the extended database and so
i'm trying to change to this

http://downloads1.kaspersky-labs.com/updates_ext

but i cannot find the relevant settings to change it, I have looked in the program and registry but no settings.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated

Manually run the updater,you will see a tick box to change settings,tick this and then click "next",click on + next to update from internet ,then click on grey "square" that now shows now you can add url's or alter the default that it will use to update from ,when you have added the url you want to use move it to the top of the list(easer way is to add:- _ext onto the end of the one thats at the top of the list then it will use extended bases)
