It's not bad, but I like EWIDO much better.

I'll vote for Ewido.
I couldn't get a2 to update for some reason. Fiddled with it for awhile and took it off.

I tried it and it was a good AT (not great but good) If you can't afford an AT I would use Ewido and a2.

Hi ,
I use both Ewido and A2 (free versions) every now and then, with both no problems.

Has aČ or Ewido ever been tested by a recognized test organization?
Also, is anyone here using the PAID version of aČ? If so, how does it differ from the free version?

a2 says that my ad-aware installation programs contain trojans...yet I scanned them with 6 different AV engines and ewido and nothing came up......anyone else get these false positives or similar problems?

a2 gave me a few fp's whenI scanned after the latest update. I had an AAW fp. I scanned with KAV free file scanner and they all came out clean.

I have yet to see a AT app reviewed by a "test organization". Ewido was just officially released so no reviews as of yet.
I'm sure your second question is answered on the product page.

There was another update released that fixed alot of those ad-aware f/p's! See here (http://forum.emsisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=1682) for more info.
