View Full Version : Need a little help with the cleaner.

I just downloaded and got an update on the cleaner free trial. When I run the free trial it freezes up. I hit alt, control and delete to see if it's still responding but it's not. Anyone know what to do to fix this?

Did you install the program in safe mode?
If not, please uninstall and try it again that way.
That should help.

No I didn't install it in safe mode. I'll try it that way and see if it works. Thanks

Hi Notageek,

Were you doing a full system scan with it (on demand), or were just TCActive and TCMonitor running resident when that happened?

Did you install in safe mode in the meanwhile? Do you by any chance have another anti-trojan installed as well?

I'm not sure here: did you uninstall the software, and re-installed it in safe mode, or didn't you?

Yes unistalled the program and installed in safe mode and still having the same problem. I might just have a bad download.

Could be a possibility indeed. Uninstalling and installing a fresh downloaded copy might do the trick.

Thanks for the help. I got my Eye one 2 AT's to try. One being the cleaner and the other being TDS3 . I'm going try the cleaner first.

Keep in mind, TDS is quite superior to The Cleaner, though ;).
