Avast 4 Problem

I installed Avast 4 Anti-Virus and now I can't connect to the internet because it changed my browser connection setting to never dial a connection. I changed it back to dial my default connection but everytime I restart the setting gets changed back to never dial a connection. I'm running Windows ME. Is there a registry edit somewhere that would fix this? Anyone have any idea what's going on here?
