XP professional. I had a file that NOD32 said had a trojan in it. "hlp.dll". However the permissions on this file were such that it could not be seen in a directory scan even when hidden and system files were turned on, plus it was "in use". NOD32 could not delete it. I had to go to administrative tools, local policy, and change some settings in there so I could see files hidden from me. Then I had to change the permissions on the file manually, then I had to get dr delete and remove the file at start up because it was "in use". I find it hard to believe that a virus software can't delete a file that is in use, or hidden with special security attributes. DO I have Nod32 installed or setup incorrectly?
