Well first off Mods if this is the wrong place for this please move.
I thought I would start this post to give people some ideas of hopw to set up Eraser 5.5. Everyone that uses Eraser (any version) please post on how you have yours set up.
Ok heres what I have Eraser erasing:
c:\windows\local settings\tempory internet files (subfolders checked)
c:\windows\temp\cookies
c:\windows\cookies
c:\windows\temp\history\history.ie6
c:\windows\tempory internet files (subfolders checked)
I also have the cookies from my ISP on there. I hope this is a start of a good post. ;D

Hello Notageek! Another week.....time seems to be flying for me.
Excellent post! Great idea posting some good Eraser configurations.
I don't have but just a minute here, but I think you've got a good basic start. Here's some things that should also be wiped and you might consider adding. I'm not sure which version of Windows you're running, so you might run a "find" to see if these paths are the same on your system or even exist in your version. Using the "find" or "search" tool will come in handy here.
C:\WINDOWS\APPLOG\ (entire folder - zap)
C:\WINDOWS\Recent\
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\ (unless you actually use that folder for anything other than just temp - to be deleted - files.)
C:\WINDOWS\spool\ (checkmark subfolders)
C:\WINDOWS\Directx.log
C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\*.*
C:\WINDOWS\Faultlog.txt
Off the top of my head, those are a few more I would add. I'm sure there's even a few more.
Then, don't forget the application specific files that should be wiped. For example, do you use ACDSEE as your pix viewer? If so, you would definitely want to add:
ImageDB.ddf and ImageDB.dtf....different versions have them in different paths - just run a find. You get the idea though. A lot of applications have .log associated with them and put them in strange places. I would run a find for *.log and see if you couldn't just wipe most of them.
Have a good week!
John
