3.2 won't install

The autoupdate on 3.1 won't delete and the one on 3.2 won't install over the top of the old one, I can't get my PC into safe mode either to see if I can delete in there. I've deleted the program but the autoupdate is still in the folder, I get error 5 and it says the file is either in use or rights protected. Any help would be appreciated.

Close any open programs you've got running.
Open a Command Prompt window (start-run-CMD)
Open Task Manager (start-run-TASKMGR)
On the Processes tab - "End Process" on Explorer.exe
* Don't close Task Manager *

Go back to your Command Prompt window; navigate to and delete your target.

Switch back to Task Manager & click "File - New Task" & enter "explorer.exe" to restart the Windows GUI

I follow what you are saying, and thanks for that, but how do I locate and delete something using the Command Prompt Window, it's not something I am familiar with. :-[
*Update to this* I have sorted it thanks, I did a nifty bit of Google searching and with your advice it's now working ok ;D
