There was a guy in my neck of the woods that rented a building to keep his collection of Chevys in. They just sat there.

I love drag racing. In particular, the funny cars. The guys that drive those are daredevils. Same engine the fuel dragsters use. And the engine is in front of the driver! Short wheelbase too.

So do i Ron. ;D

Thankfully, i live close enough to a small town called Hagersville, where most of the top fuellers visit every summer. It's a treat to go out once or twice, each year and see the action. 8)

Lots of three whee cars and other tiny tyransportation at the microcar museum! (http://www.microcarmuseum.com/index.html) I never finished the virtual tour but I spent too much time there already earlier today talking about Messerschmitt cars earlier today. I think it makes more sense to have the single wheel in the back - if you have the single in the front its the wheel that steers and you will have more problems with tipping.

Never thought i'd see the day the big 3 would have to play catch up to the imports. As the article in the link says it's gonna get a whole lot more competitve once the Chinese get into the game internationally.

http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2004-06-01-chinacars_x.htm

This time, Shelburg has partnered with Chinese automakers Great Wall Automobile Holding, China Zhejiang Geely Group and Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Manufacturing.

He wants to sell subcompact sedans called Solo and Merrie, compact pickups called Sailor and Deer and compact SUVs called Safe and Sing. All are currently built and sold in China.

Their appeal is price. They sell for $9,000 to $15,000.
