New features coming out in the next 2.0 beta to address some shortcomings of NOD32. Given the time involved in the beta, I don't think much dev work has been done on 3.0. I'd bet they have it spec'd though. Could be wrong.

There will be no v. 3 any time soon but a newer program component update. The new beta is planned to be given out for testing within 1-2 weeks.

Unlike some other companies, Eset don't release new versions every year. Instead, new features are added as component upgrades. That means that you have access to all new versions/updates during the license period.

Eset usually release the Beta here in this forum, and from what Marcos has said, it should be released in the next week or so...
Cheers ;D

I think you mean on Eset's WEBSITE. The beta for version 2 was released on Eset's corporate site and Marcos has repeatedly said that this beta will be released on www.nod32.com. I'm sure there will be an announcement here and links but as Marcos has said everyone should be checking the website daily. If those wanting it look hard enough they might find it somewhere now. (Just like we did with the NOD32 version 2 beta before official public release).
