UPDATES FILE SIZE?

Over the past 30 days what has been the total and daily update file size in bytes?

I'm concerned about the potential cost of large updates over an expensive connection, i.e. satellite. Not everyone is fortunate with a low-cost broadband connection.

Hi DrP, TDS3 if updated daily over the last 30 days (1 month) will have had about 20 updates of 1.3mbs. So roughly 26mbs in total

TDS4 will use incremental updates which will be very much smaller. Licenced TDS3 users will get a free upgrade to TDS4 when it is released.

You could choose for updating for instance monday and friday only to reduce the downloads, and you're still very safe. I come to this as the automatic update is set to those same days.
