View Full Version : Anyone heard of a program name Ultra Wipe?

I have it and used it a few times. It claims to delete IE cache, cookies, history, files in temp directories, scandisk files, windows history and recycle bin. Has or is anyone else using the program? It's from a company name Red Strike. If you need a link to the site to get the program let me know.

Hi Notageek.I've tested quite a few secure file deleters and tracks cleaners lately.Ultra Wipe isn't familiar to me,I don't believe I tried that one.The one thing I did find out about these types of programs is that you have to verify that they really do what they promise.The index.dat.file is a classic example.The pay programs sometimes do a better job.If you check Ultra Wipe out,verify that it cleaned the files either manually checking the file's existence/size or run SpybotSD after you run Ultra Wipe to see what tracks it finds.
