Newbie Question

I have a D-Link DI-604 4-Port, Ethernet Broadband/Router,my question is this, can it be used on one pc only Since its a four port i wondered,
I want as much protection as possible. Thank you nice folks, for your help

It most certainly can be used on a single computer, the other ports are there if you ever do need them.
