View Full Version : CRC-32 Test Failure

Hmmm....
I just added a text file to the "crcfiles.txt", re-loaded TDS-3, and performed a "System Files CRC32 Test". TDS-3 correctly indicated that there were now 30 files in the "crcfiles.txt". So far so good. Then I re-edited the newly added text file, and run the test again. But this time, contrary to my expectation, TDS-3 did not flag the change that I just made to the text file!
Is my expectation unfounded ?

Thanks.

Hi again,
did you look in this thread
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=25306
for the CRC tests -- Check if you have the following sub-directory:
xDynamic\TDS.data
If it's not there create it manually and do your tests again.
Does it work now?

Hi Joosk,

Yes, it does work now (I would have never guessed that one in a million years)!
I hope this problem is fixed in the up coming TDS-4.

Thanks.

Hi Godsillex, TDS4 is a completely new programme - rebuilt from the ground up so to speak, so all of these minor problems will be sorted. ;D
