TDS-3 Uninstallation Quirks!

Earlier, I'd decided to change the installation directory of TDS-3. After un-installing it, I rebooted my machine, and noticed that the TDS-3 folder was still alive! It also had a single file (if I recall correctly) named "execprot.dll". Somehow the un-installation had not deleted this file. My subsequent attempts to get rid of it also produced an error message by Windows, stating that it was locked or used by a process!

Any ideas as to how to make the un-install completely remove everything related to TDS-3?

The reason that it is still there is because when you uninstalled TDS, you did not turn off Execution Protection.

To delete the old folder and file try turning off EP [remove] in TDS,
then delete it, if that will not work.

Boot to safe mode which will work.

If it would not work that way, you could reinstall TDS in that old folder and turn the exec protection off --which you always should do before uninstalling TDS -- might be good for the wishlist to have that as part of the uninstall if possible and wanted as it can be our last protection if something/body unauthorised would try to do that-- -- after which you can uninstall TDS again completely and reinstall it to the new location.
Yes exec protection is doing it's job properly.
