No, they are not the same.
Both are "add-on's" for ZoneAlarm.
To be fair: I never used VisualZone, so I am not the one to make a comparison of both programs.
I was/am fully satisfied with ZoneLogAnalyser when I use ZA.

But, as I said, the info with respect to ZoneLogAnalyser is at the moment a little bit outdated. I'm sure it will be updated soon.
