I can't disconnect my laptop from the Internet ( I finally unplugged the modem) because I keep getting a message dpcm_monitor.exe is attempting to reach the Internet. Is this okay, or trouble?

There is no reference to this program in the Task Listing at http://www.answersthatwork.com/, and my XP operating system does not report the presence of it either.

Perhaps some of the more experienced folks can assist you, or point you to other resources.

Why not post the name of your operating system version, and whatever firewall/security tools you have installed?

I searched for it and found it is the Dual PC monitor I use attempting to reach the Internet. It's okay. Thanks!
