Good stuff!
Edit:

The new sandbox is cool. If it's the one I'm thinking of it's basically LXC enforced by SELinux. So a copy-on-write SELinux sandbox.

Dang, I completely forgot that it would be released today! I'll have to give it a try.
Shame about the lack of Xfce 4.10, and the awful name.

"Fedora 18 will be called "Spherical cow"
And re. "Shame about the lack of Xfce 4.10", if I can install it I'm sure others can.

Announcement at DistroWatch:
-{ Quote: "The 'Beefy Miracle' hath arrived. We believe this is the beefiest release ever - chock full of features to customize your experience to your tastes. On the desktop, GNOME 3.4 introduces new search capabilities in the activities overview, improved themes, and enhancements to the Documents and Contacts applications. A new application, GNOME-boxes, provides easy access to virtual machines. Additionally, GIMP 2.8 brings new improvements, such as single-window mode, layer groups, and on-canvas editing." }-

"Spherical Cow..." Wow. LOL. However I stil assert that "Spherical Cow" is better than "Beefy Miracle."
BTW, I'm liking Gnome Shell 3.4. It's finally fast enough to be usable! I still would like a way to turn off the animations and drop shadows, but I have to take back what I've said about its usability. The expose/launcher window model is superior to the menu/taskbar in a lot of ways, assuming your computer has the GPU (or CPU) power for it.
OTOH, I remember E16 being able to do shrunken window snapshots and such back in 2007, faster and without any use of OpenGL; so I still think the use of 3D acceleration is rather silly.
(You can also do window snapshots in FVWM. IIRC this is usually done using Imagemagick to grab a window screenshot and shrink it, then present it as an icon. So it's not like the tools for doing such things are hard to come by, either.)

There are several improvements for LXC in Ubuntu 12.04 (http://www.stgraber.org/2012/05/04/lxc-in-ubuntu-12-04-lts/), too. Among them there is the addition of apparmor support (https://s3hh.wordpress.com/2012/05/03/lxc-in-precise-and-beyond/). See also here (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LxcSecurity).
