Programme and trojan database updates are very few and far between with tauscan.I would suggest you use tds3 ,boclean,or trojan hunter.

You might like to have a look here:

I admit that I have Tauscan, but more let's say for historical reasons...
But I do have several other AT's ;)
As others have said: the lack of frequently updates is most certainly an issue about Tauscan!
I for myself do not want to rely on Tauscan as my primary AT, far from that!!!
Everyone has to make his/her own decision ;)

Tauscan is totally outdated - false sense of security. Agnitum is fully aware of this.

Tauscan is cheaper - but Outpost appears to be Agnitum's main priority.

BOClean 4.11

The BOClean vs. TDS (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=32275) thread currently running has more discussion on this - it would be better to post to that thread than take this one off-topic...

That's for sure. I really wonder why Agnitum doesn't either manage Tauscan properly or give it a decent burial and make arrangements with some other AT supplier to allow Tauscan users to convert - if they wish - at a reduced cost (say at the typical version upgrade rate for the other platform). Having it passively slide into irrelevance is not to anyone's benefit.

Tauscan is actively supported and updated by Agnitum - just not to the same extent as TH or TDS-3. You pays your money and takes your choice...

Look elsewhere for an AT.
