Hi
(it's me, leClerc ;-)-slammer_JvA, for some reason having difficulty loggin on...grr :-)

After passing all PC Flank tests, I'm 'stuck' with a tiny question:

Only 2 ports are not "stelalth" but "closed", namely ports 1080 and 3128

I bet for some reason I have closed them 'myself' (or some little appl. I use), in one of many security-deeds. Dunno anymore...

I'm using Sygate FW; is there a way to get those ports invisible again as well?
If so, I'll be eager to know - becoming the security-fanatic I am, haha

TIA

Do you have any programs listening on those ports? Can you check that with your firewall, if not you can use the netstat command from the command prompt.

Can you make a rule to block those two ports to see if it makes any difference? I had a isp that used to block 1080, and it caused problems with some of my connections since the range of 1024-5000 is used at random, so that might be your issue also unless you have a hardware router.
