Total disaster this morning when I switched on my computer, it wouldnt boot into Windows and it wouldnt even boot into safe mode. Lost everything because I had to do a factory install but it is totally my own fault, was not using any backup of any sort. Suppose I just got lazy and because everything was running so smoothly it didnt even worry me, well I cant change what happened this morning but hopefully I can make sure it doesnt happen again. So I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for what software to use.
Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.

Using Macrium Reflect 4.2 complete edition on Xp Home SP3 32-bit without fail, ever.
Although I've read about many having problems with v5.
Shadow Protect seems to be well regarded here also.(although I've never used it except briefly during a trial)

You could always just use the built in imaging and backup solutions in Windows 7.
Also make the system repair disk, just takes a couple of minutes

and here is how you would use it

If you had had this disk you may well have not had to a factory install.
Here is how to make a system image using the built in Win7 software
