They mention the link -http://build.chromium.org/f/chromium/snapshots/ but, the current link is -http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html

There's Linux builds in the "old" link, though. I wonder why? ??? The new link does require JavaScript and it's a bit slow to provide the content. :(

Awesome, I always wondered why PortableApps never did a portable version of Chromium, which I would have preferred. Bookmarked for when I bounce back from Firefox to Chrome again.

If you want portable chromium couldn't you just add the flag --user-dir="USBDRIVE" or whatever you call the USB?

Not sure - never tried it.

I use Chromium Updater (http://code.google.com/p/mulder/downloads/detail?name=Chromium-Updater.2011-09-14.zip&can=2&q=).

I still haven't automated the whole process, but first I download a new version using Ketarin. Then, I'll extract the contents manually (I still haven't bothered doing this part automatically ;D), then I'll run a script that will automatically delete my Chromium folder and place the new files there, then re-apply my integrity levels to it.

I'll be 100% happy when I get it all done, though. There's been months since the last time I started this automated process scripting thing. :argh:

I don't think I was familiar with the project you mentioned, though. :thumb:

The Chromium snapshots can be a little buggy. I’ve had issues in the past. I use Chromium continuous from here hxxp://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-continuous/index.html?path=Win/ It goes through some basic testing before release and is more stable.
