I cannot update my program, the auto updater does not work. I am currently running release 2.6.1, when I click on the check for updates I get a message stating that there is an updated version but I cannot retrieve it. ???

Hi cbt1124,

I have moved your post from the hijack cleaning forum as your question pertains to updating SpywareBlaster.

You will not be able to update SpywareBlaster's database while using the older version 2.6.1. A new version (3.1) has been released. Please see this thread: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=27424

You will have to uninstall version 2.6.1 first by disabling SpywareBlaster;s protection, reboot your computer, then uninstall through Add/Remove Programs. Then you can reinstall the new version.
