I just installed Nod32 and I would like to know how to have it stop telling me my OS is not up to date. I constantly get a "i" in the system tray icon.

Disable the system updates (http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2196&ref=wsf) feature. I don't not use this feature. Some use Windows Update (http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us) in different ways.

The default of the eset system update feature should only be the critical updates so my advice would be to run windows update then get the updates to remove the I from the eset icon.

these notifications are for your security, dont disabled them and do your windows update.
