All comments/help welcome and much appreciated.

Paranoia is the extreme concern about a negative event that is unlikely to happen.
What is the name for my extreme concern of an event that is gauranteed to happen. IE trogans, spies, viruses, etc??

Thanks Very Much

This thread really is not in the right forum but doubtless a mod will move it someplace more appropriate.

Many sites include links to Paypal (basically any that have the Paypal icon). This icon has an encrypted link (https) to Paypal's site so any cookies it sets will bypass any web filter you may be using. See The dangers of HTTPS (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=31087) thread for more detail on this and a discussion of some countermeasures.

you could start by getting a HOSTS file and add their hostname to it
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm , or just use a firewall and block their ip addresses or use a cookie manager program like analog x cookiewall. something has to work.. :o
