View Full Version : Poor service from Eset

Last week I felt the need to purchase a good backup antivirus, I chose Nod32 as I have been monitoring their performance for a while now.
As a resident of UK (and I point out without a credit card) I only have a debit card, this limits my purchasing drastically,I emailed eset and recived a reply promptly saying they would accept a cheque.
Great thinks I, on further questioning it seems my English cheque will be of no use,and now a money order will do! but they have two resellers in the UK that they would prefer I use!!!! these I had already contacted 2 weeks ago with no reply.
Thanks eset but I may rethink offering you my business completely.

If anyone knows where I may purchase Nod32 with a Switch card (debit) I shall be very grateful.

I am a little annoyed by this treatment at the hands of Eset,I know that a Switch card is not universally accepted but to be practically brushed aside is hard to accept.

Well, as you will see Paul some confusion abound but a prompt and polite reply from Alan, looks like I'll have a satisfactory conclusion soon.
Thanks for your help Paul. :)

Hi Tinribs,

Yep, I noticed - as ever we get a cc from emails like these just to keep an eye on things, in this case from Alan Thake. Seems all will be fine soon.

My pleasure, btw ;)

regards.

All sorted Paul, details recieved today and Nod32 now installed with no problems.
I may have to adjust my views on Esets service now!
Thanks again for your help, and Alan Thrake was very great to do business with. :)

Glad to hear so, Tinribs ;). Sometimes a little speed up is needed, but in the end we'll get there!
