OS: Windows XP Home

SpywareGuard 2.2 Minimal Setup has just been installed. No version of SpywareGuard has been previously installed. Installation included the creation of the following three desktop objects:

1) Shortcut - LiveUpdate - sgliveupdate.exe;
2) Shortcut - Main - sgmain.exe;
3) System Tray Icon.

When I click on the 2nd item, the shortcut for "sgmain.exe", nothing seems to happen. However, if I double-click or right-click on the tray icon, up comes the SpywareGuard main screen (with "Status", "Reports", "Options", etc...).

Is that the way it’s supposed to be? [... from what I’ve read here in the forum, the roles of these two appear to be reversed on my computer. ??? ]

No, that's not reversed... that is how it is supposed to work. The systray icon is the only way to open the SpywareGuard management interface. Here's a thread explaining it:

If that's how it's working for you, then everything is normal.
