Cant install, Error 1

trying to install ESS on a laptop. It says F-Secure is installed which it isnt, I am sure it is the legacy registry entries that F-Secure leaves behind. It starts to install and I get a popup error message saying error 1. Can someone help please.

thanks, I just installed version 4 then 5 over it and it worked.
