I'm trying to compare all of the passive protection methods in use and available on-line, and it has seemed to me that there are three registry areas of concern. I'd be interested to know of anyone who knows of more (never mind, for now, the basics of what security settings are made for the Internet Zone).

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Micros[...]ernet Settings\P3P\History
HKCU\Software\Micros[...]ernet Settings\P3P\History

Other protection engines don't seem to cover ALL of these, as Spywareblaster does. Also, there are sites that maintain registry files that may be downloaded, but I haven't seen any such sites that offer comprehensive coverage, as Spywareblaster does.

Are these it? Are these the only areas of concern? And are there any other engines that cover these? I know of no engines that cover other registry areas, and I know of no other registry areas to cover, and I know of no other engines that cover all four of these areas. I don't know much! ;-)
